About our elevated deck tents

Luxury 2 Sleeper Tents: There are four private elevated deck tents, each situated at a unique position along the stream with a stunning view of the awe-inspiring cliffs. The identically-furnished tents are designed to provide stylish self-catering living with modern amenities and comforts inside nature.

The deck tents each sleep two adult persons, with a spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area, a bedroom and open plan bathroom with bath, basin, shower and enclosed toilet. A camping cot or camping bed can additionally be provided in the tents for children.

With large balconies on either side of the deck and with the tent flaps up, your living area extends to the whole deck. From the comfort, convenience and privacy of your deck you will experience and truly feel part of the stunning nature around you, day and night. The elegant décor in the lounge is complimented by a modern, well-equipped self-catering kitchen and cooking area, providing the ideal setting for you to cook up and enjoy something special in this unique setting. Starting at R3800 per night, including breakfast.

Luxury 2-Sleeper Tent with Pool: Our Aquila tent is uniquely located on a natural elevation in the escarpment, providing
magnificent views of the surrounding cliffs, the crystal-clear pond in the mountain stream and the forested valley below. The plunge pool adjoining the deck overflows with pristine, natural earth water that streams out of a fountain on the high ground and is aerated by the waterfall while flowing down the ravine. Starting at R4600 per night, including breakfast.

Luxury 8-Sleeper Tents: The Nest is a cosy grouping of three large elevated decks, ideal for families, friends and other small groups. It was designed to enable them to share the thrill of staying together in the forest next to a pristine mountain stream, with a majestic cliff looming ominously above. Eight adults are comfortably accommodated at the Nest in the four tent suites, with plenty of space to spare.

 

The Nest provides the ultimate open plan self-catering and lounge facility, with four tent suites, with all modern amenities and comforts being provided in the heart of nature. The tents on the other two elevated decks (with plunge pools) each comprise two luxury tent suites, connected via an interleading door. The bedroom of each suite has an extra length king size bed, electric blanket and mosquito net, desk and reading light, en-suite shower, basin, enclosed toilet and balcony. 

 

The communal deck area serves as a spacious modern dining room area, lounge, communal self-catering kitchen and cooking area. There are two day-beds and a long L-shaped couch in the lounge, with enclosed toilet, enclosed shower and basin. Some teenagers may prefer to sleep on the day beds and on the couch in the communal tent, while others may want to bring and pitch their own tents next to the
stream! Starting at R1 000 per person per night. We can accommodate up to 6 kids additionally on camping stretchers at R350 per kid per night.
